It's official.  My very first Kindle E-book has just went live today!  You can get it for only $0.99!

(All profits will go toward purchasing a home debt-free)

The E-book is a book I wrote several years ago.  I had heard from multiple Christian publishers, but the timing did not work out.  My husband and I finally felt it was time to share it and have decided to do so in the form of an E-book!

The book is called, "Making Your World a Better Place by Simply Being in it!"

When I was a teenager, I was fortunate to go on several mission trips.  It wasn't long before I felt God calling me into missions.  I "assumed" that meant I would be living in some third-world country somewhere, sleeping on dirt floors and taking ice cold bucket showers with the chickens.  I was prepared to do that.

Yet, it seemed like every door kept closing.  Why would God call me to do something and not open the doors for me?  With much prayer and time passing, I began to realize that God was not calling me overseas.  He was calling me to be willing to minister wherever He had me:  whether it be at the grocery store, school, work, etc.

This scared me far worse than dealing with the issues of many poverty-stricken countries.  Many of those people didn't know about Jesus.  Many of them were grateful when we shared the Gospel.  But in America, it is totally different.  It seems like everyone in the Bible Belt is a professing Christian.  Now if this were true, and everyone in my little world were saved, I'd just move and find somewhere else to witness!  But it's far from the truth.

Matthew 7:22 & 23
"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

You see, many people have said some kind of prayer.  They believe in a god and have confessed their sins, but they never repented (forsaken) their sins.  Therefore, they go on living the same as they had before.  Not much changes.  Maybe they start going to church every Sunday, but their lifestyle pretty much stays the same.  They think they're a good person because compared to those around them, they look like an angel.

So how do you witness to someone who already believes they are saved?  Certainly I believe that speaking to them directly about the Truth is never to be forgotten.  I think sharing the Gospel is important, but I believe sometimes the only way people will be open to hearing the Gospel is through wanting what Christians have.  Most of the time, the Christians they see are no different from themselves.  They gossip, wear the same clothes, have the same goals, are not as hardworking at work...they don't see much of a desire to be Christ-like.

I hope that professing Christians are looking at my life and realizing that they do not have what I have.  They won't see a perfect Christian, but they will see one with many faults who strives everyday to turn from my sin and seek after the Lord.  Maybe they were deceived into believing they were saved by saying a prayer of Salvation, with little lifestyle change.

This book offers very basic, simple, and easy to-do tips for any Christian to complete during their daily life.  The purpose is to begin a lifestyle change.  Our actions will speak far louder than our words.

Philippians 4:5
"Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand."

The world needs to see our patience and other good character qualities.  Not for our own prideful reasons, but so that they may see some of Christ in us and want to know Him!

I know that you have jobs to do.  You can't go to Africa and speak to those who may have never even heard the name of Christ.  But can you be witnessing with at least your life in your little world?  Are you displaying qualities that are Christ-like?  We should not only abstain from sin, but we should be looking for ways to bless others!  The purpose is to look for things to fill your life that are edifying, not just things that are not sinful.

I hope you'll purchase my E-book today for only $0.99 to get some simple ideas to get you started on a path to daily setting an example before your family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers you run into!

Is your world a better place because you are in it?!
