Every year around your child's birthday, take their pictures and put their "favorites" or "likes" for that year on the picture. You can also do the child's favorite likes with certain friends and family. You can also use pictures with the child and a family member when doing their likes. These make great gifts. I don't go to great lengths on doing mine, but a person could really make them nice. I think they're nice for documenting how a child's "likes" change over the years.
